Michael Abramovich is known for his distinctive artistic voice, combining historical awareness, intellectual curiosity, and expressive freedom in performances spanning the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and contemporary repertoire.

As a soloist and chamber musician, he appears regularly at leading international festivals, including Beethovenfest Bonn, the Bard Music Festival (New York), and the Festival Radio France Occitanie Montpellier. His musical collaborators include Anne-Sophie Mutter, Nadine Sierra, Daniel Lozakovich, Daniel Behle, Piotr Beczała, and actors Barbara Schnitzler, Meike Droste, and Dieter Mann. 

A dedicated advocate of contemporary music, Abramovich gave the world premiere of Pierre Charvet’s Neuf Études pour piano et dispositif informatique, later recorded for Accord / Universal Classics France. His recordings also include the violin sonatas of Janáček, Debussy, and Richard Strauss with violinist Ittai Shapira for Meridian Records, as well as songs by Friedrich Hollaender for Deutsche Grammophon with actress Dagmar Manzel and the Orchestra of the Komische Oper Berlin.
